Both as a parent and professional, Laurin Gracey Parker brings a diverse background as a business owner, coach, PTA volunteer, and community advocate. Laurin is a proud parent to an RCS grad and current student. Laurin is committed to supporting educators, listening to the community, and ensuring every student is prepared for lifelong success. Laurin will bring thoughtful leadership and a forward-looking perspective to the board.
Jamie Rawcliffe

As RCS PTA Council President for three years, Jamie Rawcliffe is dedicated to serving students, families, and educators. Jamie has served on the nationally recognized Authors In April board and as a volunteer and PTA leader for over 14 years. Jamie is the proud parent to an RCS grad and current RCS student. She has a deep commitment to special education and is committed to building on Rochester's tradition of excellence while keeping students at the center of every decision.
Dr. Sherry Wynn Perdue
6 year term
Dr. Sherry Wynn Perdue is an educator, researcher, and current RCS Trustee. As OU Writing Center Director, she partners with faculty, schools, and community organizations to strengthen literacy and student success. A national leader in writing education, Sherry serves the International Writing Centers Association, the College Board's AP English Language program, and local and national initiatives focused on the responsible use of GenAI. Sherry believes strong schools are built through genuine dialogue, thoughtful stewardship, and collaborative leadership. She is committed to building bridges between schools, families, higher education, and the broader Rochester Community.
